We started our day early and headed to Moerenuma Park. Fortunately, the weather was amazing, and the sky was clear! Autumn is the perfect weather to cycle and this park provides bike rental at 200 yen for 2 hours.
Exploring the park on a bike was a wonderful experience as we got to enjoy the magnificent view and feel the breeze running through our hair. We also stopped by several spots for photo taking which you can see more below...

Going for a picnic in this weather would be perfect. Hence, we decided to have our breakfast in Moerenuma Park. We headed to a convenience store to get food and drinks so that it will be easy to carry around. (Of course, not forgetting the picnic mat and cutleries). Surprisingly, Japan’s convenience store’s food is super tasty!!
With such great weather, ambience, and food, our picnic experience was so enchanting. I wish we had more time to appreciate the scenery around us. Sadly, it was our last day in Hokkaido and we had a flight to catch. Though it was not planned before, it was truly a lovely experience. The hustle and bustle of life keep us on our toes, that we never take time to pause and enjoy a picnic. Which is why moments like this are a treasure to me especially when you are sharing it with your loved ones.

Located near the main
entrance is a glass pyramid named Hidamari. Inside, you can find a museum,
café, and an event space. There is also playground equipment, sea fountain and
outdoor sports field at Moerenuma Park.
Fun and relaxing, a
morning at Moerenuma Park is probably the best way to end our trip in Hokkaido.
Unwind from the bustling city life and drop by this park if you are around
Sapporo! Also, bring along some snacks so that you can enjoy a meal at the
