Khao Yai: Day 2

10:19

MY OZONE
My ozone is ideal for those who simply want to recharge and relax! It offers an experience with gardens and golf course view to soak away life's stresses. The peaceful setting of the property is tough to beat. Scroll down for more pictures that were taken in the morning (:

(Refer to my previous post, Khao Yai Day 1 about My Ozone)

RISE AND SHINE!

They maintain their greenery really well! (WOW). Although this hotel is a bit “ulu”, it was still worth the shot. Pretty memorable and I had a great experience there (: I would say that My Ozone is a resort of your dreams, with every magical element for an indulgent fantasy escape!

THE BLOOM BY TV POOL

Came here expecting to take a lot of pictures but sadly we didn’t :( Paid an entrance fee of 100 baht per pax. Went in there and there wasn’t much areas to take pictures. To be honest, it was much more worth paying the entrance fee to Primo Piazza. Perhaps it wasn’t the right season to go to The Bloom.

Matchy matchy with the flowers (TOTALLY UNPLANNED)

All is well because we managed to take a few shots that I simply love (:

PB VALLEY WINERY

After our time at The Bloom, we headed over to PB Valley Winery which was only a 5 min drive.
There is a Winery Tour available where they will bring you to the vineyards and around PB Valley for the perfect picture stop and it also includes wine tasting. (Children and young adults under the legal drinking age will be served with 100% fresh Shiraz Grape Juice, a premium product of the PB Valley estate) However, we just decided to take a stroll around the place.
Rate for the above tour:
320 baht per pax (ADULTS)
250 baht per pax (CHILDREN AGED 4 TO 20)

THE CASTLE (TEAROOM)
I AM BACK HERE AGAIN! If you didn’t see my previous post, I actually went to The Castle Restaurant Thames Valley for lunch. Now I am back here, The Castle Tearoom for tea break!

Nestled among the resort’s lush garden, Castle Tea room enchants guests upon arrival with its garden view from their private terrace. Everything here, from the design to the plush furnishings, it creates the most romantic afternoon tea possible.

For tea break, we decided to try out their Strawberry Cheesecake (125 baht) and Earl Grey Lava Cake (175 baht). It is odd how it is named “Earl grey” but doesn’t taste like one. Still, it was good (: Of course, we cannot forget the drinks. Decided to go for a Raspberry Italian Soda (130 baht) and Lychee Italian Soda (130 baht) because of the scorching heat.

Had a great time here (: See you soon, Thames Valley

PALIO KHAO YAI

This place reminds me of Primo Piazza. Both have a similar theme (I keep getting mixed up with the two). Palio have little shops that sells clothing and souvenirs. In my opinion, I feel that it is not a suitable shopping place. There was not much to see too. If you wish to buy some souvenirs home, you can try Palio out!

JABULANI RESTAURANT @ LALA MUKHA

Lala Mukha is a modern tented camp resort surrounded by the natural beauty of the forests and grasslands. It is located on the outskirt of Khao Yai National Park. We arrived early at the restaurant to enjoy the transition from day to night. It’s peaceful ambience and scenery made our dinner extra memorable. Dining amongst nature is one of a kind, especially with appetising foods and your loved ones by your side. With breathtaking view of the mountains, Jabulani Restaurant is the idyllic place for an unforgettable dining experience.

Level 2 seating area.

(We chose to sit at level 1 outdoor)

What we ordered: BBQ set for 2-3 pax (1650 baht), Additional 2 Chicken skewers (110 baht), Pad Thai (180 baht).
The BBQ set tasted absolutely savoury and everything was well barbecued. What we love were the tangy dips that comes along with it. (Moving on to the Pad Thai….) This dish was offering flavours that speak for themselves. SO GOOOOD! I would say that dinner here was a serious indulgence.

This is the end of my Khao Yai Day 2 post! Head over to my previous post to find out more about where I went on my first day and check out my next post about my last day in Khao Yai! (:
